I don't even have time for a shower!

Please don't be too upset with me! I know that many of my friends and family are feeling neglected and rightfully so! I have not been around and if I am around I am on lock down doing homework or studying or making big projects! I am finding out that I am a perfectionist when it comes to school! I just want to maintain my 4.0 until I graduate. I did get an award for the 4.0 coveted Presidents List and an award for Perfect attendance(no small task)! I am proud of my hard work, but there is always room for improvent, thus my non existance! I do love my friends and I do love my family! This is only temporary and then I will return to the world of the living! If I have had a free minute, you can understand that I gave it to my husband and my kids! Here are a few quick pictures of those rare moments! Thank you to all of my supporters and poop on you if you are a hater! LOL! LOL still! More supporters than haters thank goodness! Thanks again, especially to my kind and patient husband who knows when not to ask what is for dinner when I am heading out the door at three thirty for school not to return until close to eleven! Nick I love you!
August 13th was my Birthday , but the present came later!
It was worth the wait! All I need now is a white basket for the handles!
This is me loving my new bike!!!!!
My BELATED BIRTHDAY BIKE!
Ashley's Seventh Birthday and her special cherry chocolate homemade cake! Payson pool for the Parcell's on Ashley's Birthday! August 22!

Happy 10th Anniversary!

Ten Crazy years! Nick and I have today reached ten years of matrimony! He is my best friend and for that I am grateful! The other day I got thinking and realized that our ten years has not always been a peice of cake! Most marriages aren't. But it got me wondering about an analagy of the It's a small world ride at Disney! Now thats a slow and simple ride, it is sweet, and then it gets really annoying almost too perfect kind of annoying! Some marriages are like that and they do just fine. Then there is the dragster at Cedar Point amusement park! It is fast and fun and scary and there are parts where you almost pee your pants, and parts where you scream and parts where you hold your breath and parts where you smile and laugh! Me and Nick we are the Dragster! Life is not always easy, but we are true best friends and at the end of the day, we are stronger and happier and closer! Nick I love you with all my heart! You make me so happy! I could not have chosen a better eternal companion! Love you babe! I look forward to many many more thrills as we take off together on our own roller coaster. The good, the bad and the awesome! I have so much fun with you and there is no other person in this world who knows me better. You know my soul and you still love me! You make me strive to be a better person. Eternity is not long enough! Nicholas Martin Parcell thank you for ten amazing years, you are the circle of my universe!!! Always and Forever, Love Jen

Sharpening the Saw!

My mom tells me all the time, that I need to stop and sharpen the saw. Meaning that I need to sharpen the dull blade or else I will be sawing and sawing and sawing with no real progression. The blade is dull and I am running ragid trying to do it all! Today I stopped and sharpened the saw! I spent a wonderful day with my husband and kids! We went to a family reunion and then on our way home, we stopped at Bridal Veil Falls and walked to them and played in the pool at the bottom. It was so great to pause and enjoy the most important people in my life! I feel sharp and ready to tackle another crazy adventurous week!!!! I just love this place!

Caden's First Soccer Tournament!

Caden had five games in four days! In the hot hot hot of summer! He played his little butt off! They came in second place but hey for their first tournament finals are not too shabby! Caden you are a rock star! He is number 20 and you can see him off on the side in pic #1.

Shari's Wedding! Last of the Schmitt weddings!

Last weekend my sister Shari got married to Bryce Roby in the Manti temple. I am a little partial, but it was just such a beautiful temple to decide. I loved being there with her in the brides room and then in the sealing room. She and Bryce were so happy! The day before I had the privilege to go to Timpanogas temple and go through with her while she took out her endowment. It has been a while since I have been to the temple. I felt so at peace in spite of the morning that I had had! We had a great weekend and got a few pictures! Enjoy!

Growing like weeds!

This last Friday, I saw the sun and decided to absorb as much of it as possible before the storms hit again. I took my kids to the park and just let them run around and be silly and loud. I just looked at them thinking how big they are and that they just seem to be growing like weeds! I am glad that I got the chance to be with my kids for the day. This week I will starting school and I know that life is only going to get crazier. Anyways here are the pictures of that afternoon!

Ashley insisted on taking those two of me, the other was a timer pic.

A bragging Mom moment!

My son Caden has loved soccer from way early on even in my belly! Yes I just said that, now let me explain! When I was eight months pregnant with Caden, we were moving into a little house in Springville. I was slowly putting things away and unpacking. My attention at that moment was in the kitchen and as I leaned over the stove and on tippy toes to an above cabinet, Caden kicked so hard that he knocked over some glasses that were next to my belly on the stove top. I joked to Nick that "He's going to be a soccer player!" Funny! Now yes he is only about nine, but he is really talented. He was playing city ball and shined even making as many as ten goals during one game. But other kids who could not keep up with him started playing dirty and knocking him over and kicking him in the stomach and knee when he was down! We heard about these tryouts for an accelerated soccer team in Mapleton. We showed up that morning and watched as Caden played his guts out. Nick and I heard the coach say I like 20 21 and 24. Caden's number was 20! We were so excited, but that faded when we heard that really there were only like four or less open spots. We waited Four days before hearing that he did in fact make the team. I ran to the school and told Caden! We both jumped up and down and actually got a little teary eyed, i am not going to lie! So since then he had a week long camp and now has 7:30 am practices Mon, Wed, and Friday. HE works so hard and his coach told us that during the tryouts they knew they wanted him after seeing him play in just the first five minutes. After camp week, he pulled Nick and I aside and said that Caden is very talented and that if he keeps up this enthusiasm, he will play college ball! Now yes he is only 9, well almost 9, but if he chooses to continue down this path, me and Nick will support him every step of the way! Way to go Caden Dad and I are way proud of you!

You Asked For It Jen!

Jen Brower commented on being sad that I left this picture out! I thought that I was being nice by saving her from this picture going public, but I guess I was wrong! So here you have it, This is Jen eating a hot dog! lol:)

Surprise!

So this is old news, but none the less still news! The day the kids got out of school, a bunch of moms spear headed a surprise party for the kids! Jill Brown made hot dogs and everyone else supplied the trimmings. It was a lot of fun to see the kids and even moms let loose and welcome summer! We set up the water slide on the side of the house and let me tell you, that's a good time! So are cake walks and face painting and slip and slides. Sounds like a new tradition if you ask me! video

My Buddy and classmate!

Here are Conner and Allie at their graduation for preschool. The program was fantastic. Allie was so animated and Conner, well he stole the show, by being so loud! He from the top of his lungs, shouted his songs! You can see in this picture below, he was singing John Jacob Jingle Heimer Schmitt. Hands in pocket and with all he had he belted out the words! Everysong! Sorry to all the other parents. Atleast they were laughing and not too upset! Great job you two! I can't believe how big you are gettting!

I didn't drop off the face of the earth!

But I did get lost in my yard! Pulling a couple of weeds, turned into, Planting flower boxes, two pots, four full flower beds, and lots and lots of planting, and watering! I took pictures on advice from my mother-in-law so that as summer progresses and things fill in, I will be able to see how much everything has grown! I did plant a garden as well, but I just used some of my backyard flower bed and a few tomatoes hidden in the front! Whatever it takes, right? I sure love gardening!

Trax~Gateway~Discovery Museum~WOW!

So not eight hours after getting off of my flight from Michigan, I was driving to Sandy to get on Trax! (With a car full of kids) I am insane! Conner and Allie were so excited that I just got carried away in their enthusiasm! Riding on Trax was a new experience for them and they acted as though it were a roller coaster! I loved watching them it was so refreshing! Next we walked from the trax station to the Gateway food court where we all ate our yummy home lunches. Due to lack of time and no groceries in my house after my trip, I grabbed a loaf of bread, a container of Peanut Butter and a packet or two of jelly! Bought some Cheetos at Johnny' s and called it a day! After lunch we walked down to the Discovery Museum. That is such a cool place. I can't wait to bring Nick and the other kids to take part in their own adventure. Hours of fun and many pictures later, we returned to Trax. The very last picture of the slide show is so telling as to how that ride went! They were spent and ever so done! Me too for that matter!!!!! A walk from the train to the parking lot was a good energy release and then we were heading home in the afternoon rush on I-15. You know, it was so exhausting and then I had Dance for Ashley and then Soccer games for both Caden and Ashley and then dinner making and then my dance class and then I closed the Laundromat! Holy crap! Butttttttttttttttttttttt........It was a great day! I am so lucky to be able to spend time with my kids. What fun to see them all interact with others and new situations. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this field trip and the many other activities that unfolded this day. Everyday that I am up and moving around and enjoying life and being busy, is a true blessing from the Lord! I can't imagine what my life would be like without each of them. I guess all there is to do is to treasure them for the gifts that they are! Enjoy the slide show, I know I sure did!

You may have notice the change in quality!

My extremely generous dad gave me this very imrpessive Sony Cybershot Digital Camera! He was mortified when he saw that I only had my camera phone for all my pictures. It worked well, but now with this camera, I can see just how awesome the quality is! Thank you Dad I love the camera and all that it does! Woooo Hoooo!

As a child I remember running down the trails of StoneyCreek. Reading the nature signs and soaking in all of the nature! In the short time i was home, I knew I had to make it back to StoneyCreek. My mom, Michelle, and Jessica joined us. It was a beautiful day and the company was elite! It is so full of memories to me that, I don't think I talked very much. I was deep in thought about my life I lived there in Michigan! What a beautiful Day! And fun fun games of Pooh sticks!

Many, Many, Many posts to come! Sneak Peak!

The past two weeks have been a whirl wind of craziness! I have so much to post it is not even funny! I will put out a teaser and the rest will have to sneak in as my life continues to whiz past me! I am so excited to share all the great memories that I have formed and to let you see another side to the wild and silly and fun filled life of Jennifer Parcell!! Great memories and great times! So how do I choose on which post to pacify peoples blogging cravings? Hmm how about a couple pictures of me and my parents. Ok settled! So many of you know that I had the great opportunity to fly home to Michigan! It was AMAZING! I had the time of my life plus some! Like I said, I have tons of pictures, but here is the latest pictures of me and my mom and dad!

My Dad, My Mom, and Me. All they did was keep feeding me and it shows! Oh well that's what the gym is for right?
My tiny mom and me!
My parents and me and my crazy niece Jessica! We could not get her to smile sweetly. Ok so let me say that I have naturally curly hair, and with the humidity in Michigan and the massive downpour of rain, my hair went from naturally curly to freaking Amazon woman! The volume was uncontrollable! And the frizz was outrageous! Funny huh?

Grandpa Comes To The Rescue!

Grandpa our hero! Ashley had dance at 4pm, but as the clock kept ticking, she began wondering why I was holding her back from going even though it was after 4pm. See I knew that Grandpa was coming and he had a plan! He finally arrived and had some soup from Grandma in his hand as well as a little box. Hmmm? He asked Ashley to come and pick out a piece of chicken inside the box! She reached in and then there was utter shock! Thats not chicken! She just stared, until a nervous smile crept up on her face! She was so happy! We immediately placed him into the cage. He scooted in and headed right for the wheel where he ran for a minute and then had alittle snack! He was home! Ashley was delighted and Grandpa is her hero! Thank you Grandpa! Murry was our friend and we truly miss him! Our new little friend has been fun and friendly and has helped us to remember Murry but not be so lonely. Our new friends name is........................... Oscar! Oscar loves his new home and his new family! Thank you to all for your love and support!

Tradgedy Strikes The Parcell's Yet Again!

In deep sadness I regretfully inform you that our dear hamster Murry has passed away after a freak accident that instantly broke his spine! This freak accident was Conner! He was playing with Murry in his ball but knew that stairs were dangerous so he picked him up and was carrying him down when Conner tripped and the hamster ball flew out of his grip and violently fell down the flight of stairs! With shear anxiety Murry was carried into my room where an examination was performed and time of death was announced! Ashley in whom the hamster belonged to was devastated. Her cries could be heard around the cul de sac and the sobbing brought tears to my eyes! I fondly reflected on Murry as my middle of the night companion as there are many nights I lay awake in my bed and hear Murry running on his wheel. He felt my pain and now I felt his as Ashley deals with the loss of her furry little friend. I can see that this is a big deal to the entire family as well as her friend Aubrie. She was so grieve stricken she had to go home for a minute to seek comfort from her mom. All the kids held Murry for the last time and them we nestled him in his box to buried in. Ashley decorated the box and gave sweet messages that helped heal her broken heart. I could see that the funeral to come needed to be special as to not mock his death, but to celebrate his life. Ash wanted to invite her friends so we made up some quick invitations and sent them around the street! All her friends arrived and at 4:30 pm we gathered to share our memories and to say goodbye to Murry. In went the box, in went a red vine ball he played with,in went treats of his, and in went some flowers. Dirt covered his box as we watched the darkness consume the hole. The shallow resting place was soon engulfed with the dust of the earth! Flowers placed by Ash on the loose ground above little Murry and a moment of silence incurred. Friends said their goodbyes and family comforted Ashley as we walked back into the house. It was almost perfect except our sweet little Conner who felt very little realization of the loss, said "GOODNIGHT MURRY!" in a real gruff voice right as I was filling the grave with dirt. All and all we were able to honor Murry and leave him to rest in peace while running in the wheels of heaven!

Jen's April Fool's Day Fun!

PRANK #1 Open cupboard and fill with tons of plastic ball and wait for victim to open and watch with amusement as balls fly around!
Nick caught on to my intersest and sent Allie to the cupboard instead! Neither here nor there, it was still funny!
PRANK # 2 Put fishing line across the door frame and watch Nick snag across it as he enters the garage door and laundry room!
PRANK # 3 Put Saran Wrap over the kids toilet and wait for disaster to strike! No one understood this one and they kept coming up to me and telling me that they had to go to the bathroom, but that there was some weird plastic stuff over the toilet! PRANK # 4 I super glued two quarters, two dimes, and two pennies, on the porch and waited for my money hoarding kids to come home from school and try to pry them up! They picked at it until they came up, but wondered and asked me why i glued money to the porch! They did not quite get that it was for April fool's Day! What can I say,"I tried!"

Conner, Conner, Conner!!!!!

Half of my four year olds is Conner! He is loud and persistant, crazy, funny, sweet, and perpetually pushing my buttons! This day was no different! My dryer was broke, so I was at the Bubble Hut drying some bed linens. Conner was not listening and kept getting put in time out! Like that worked! He just kept pushing and pushing and finally I snapped! He had a rip in his pants and I told him that if he did not calm down that I was going to rip off his pant leg. Plus I hate holes in clothing, it drives me nuts, especially socks! Well you guessed it, he did not calm down, so I followed through on my threat! These are the after pictures! I laughed so hard that I almost pee'd my pants! He was shocked, and slightly embarrassed. He eventually laughed too! So I guess he learned to not push my buttons and to not wear holy pants!

Going Postal!!!!!!

Conner and Allie had another field trip! First we went to the Firestation, then we went to the post office where they all mailed off a letter to themselves, and then we ended up at Miss Kathline's house (one of Nada's helpers) where we saw her sons hawks. They are licensed falconers. It was a long morning and I had nearly gone postal myself! Memories, Right? That is what I keep telling myself!

Ashley trapped a Leprechaun!

For St. Patricks Day Ashley had to make a leprechaun trap! We worked hard together and this is what we came up with! She was so proud! At school the leprechauns failed to get caught by any of the classes. (apparently it depends on what the teacher does) Ashley's class had the leprechauns leave a candy treat. This was not what Ashley made her trap for, so she brought it home and set it up at night, determined to catch a little green leprechaun! Lo and behold she caught a leprechaun that night! She was so excited and all her hard work payed off!

15 down and many more to go!

Basically, everyone that knows me, knows that after being on some medication for MS, I gained about 30 lbs! This was devasting! Even more devastating was that I went to the gym and cut out the crap and still gained! After discussions with my doctor and Nick we decided to stop the med's. Since then I hit the gym harder and really cut out anything that is unhealthy! I don't even drink diet pop anymore!!!!!! So with that said, after lots of blood, sweat, and many tears, I am officially down 15lbs! Yay! It has been so hard and it is not going to get any easier, but atleast I am on the downswing! I have lost weight many times before, but never has it been this hard! Perhaps because it is not so much about a smaller size than perfecting my body so that the MS is not so progressive. It is a matter of my life and my health and my quality of life! So I am in no way tooting my horn, but hell, TOOT, TOOT! hehehe See ya at the gym and I will post again after the next fifteen pounds! Chow!

Just in case you forgot or did not see me 15 lbs ago, here is the proof!

Long, Long, Monday!

Monday was the day that would never end! I documented the day and even look at the pictures, I feel exhausted all over again! Just see for yourself!

6:30 am wake up and get all four kids ready for the day!

7:00 find out for sure NIck can't get home for the Dr. Suess Dad's and Doughnuts at 7:30am!

7:30 Take all four kids to DAD's and doughnuts! Not Mom's and doughnuts, but the kids would have been crushed if they had missed it! So I went!

7:28 am Walking over to the school...
My Crazy kids still with morning eyes!
Crazy Mom still with morning eyes! And sooooo out of place until Corinne came and sat with me!
Caden so excited to read some Dr. Seuess to me!
Ashley sporting the coveted Cat in the hat hat!
Yummy , I love my doughnut and chocolate milk.... mmmm mmmmm goood!
Conner would not sit still, but this is the best I could get! He also loved his doughnut! 7:55 am walk down the halls and see the classrooms and settle down and read read read! Then after reading,
8:25 the bell rang and school started.
8:30 Conner and Allie and I head next to the bubblehut because Allie spilled water all over my sheets and comforter and duvey cover ,and so off to the laundro-mat. Conner and Allie were all about helping me!
9:00am And completely mezmorized by the wash cycle.... I do the same thing!
9:19am Here mom, use this! Weeeeeeeee! Sorry Corinne, I made them get out after I got the shot!!!
Then there was a lot that happened that I could not take pictures of! So lets chat for a minute!
9:40am
1.while it was drying I left for Orem to make a house payment!
2.Got up there to find out they lied about having the Title on our car. THey suck!
3.fill out paper work for a lein release and a duplicate title all so we might sell the honda.
4. Drop off perscription at MAceys!
5. Go get linnens from laundro-mat.
6. Go back to pharmacy and they tell me they did not get all the info from my neurologist. So I call and get right through to her and . I go back in line and he says to me no we dont have the info yet. I was like dude, look behind you he is on the phone with her. Oh ya sorry maam! Ok that will be 20 minutes while we fill it. "WHat! WHy was it just sitting there when all you needed was the doctors DA number. I have been here four times and now it will be five! " So I left and took Conner and Allie to school after a quick stop at home for a sandwhich.
12:00pm I drop the twins off at school and now I get to track down medical records at two diff places.
12:18 pm I go to CUC and pick up my MRI and report cd and then head over to Utah Valley for the other 2 MRI and MRA for cd's and reports!
2:oopm I got home and had to make copies onto my computer so I won't have to run all over the county when I see a new doctor!
2:40 pm the older kids get home from school and start doing chores. I finish my last copy and have to run to pick up Conner and Allie from school. I dropped them off at home and Nick pulled in. Good timing!
3:10 and I have 20 minutes to get to Provo for my appt with Dr Robbins! I made it and filled out tons of forms. Saw the dr around 4:oo pm. He was polite and informative, but he needed more information before we decide what to do! Ok so now It is ...................
4:30 and I am heading home quickly to avoid losing a bet to NIck! Before 5:30 I win... After 5:30 he wins! Needless to say I won!!!!!!
5:00 Have a couple preztzles and a grapfruit since I ate nothing until this. Then freshened up a bit and at
5:30 Headed to the Morley's to take the kids through the burned house and talk with the firefighters. Took pictures of the family and other...
This is a picture of the front of the house days after the fire. Debrie was all over and windows boarded up!
This is a dresser that was up in the room where the fire started!
THis was a brnt drawer that had the sweater he was wearing the day before at my house. A sweater in which I was quite fond of and wanted to get one for Conner. So much so that I asked him if he would mind if I checked the tag to see where his mommy got it! I was just so taken by Nicklaus. Anyway there we are in line and in that drawer is that sweater. Burnt and ruin. It was a sad sad truth of so many other things!
Bedroom walls and ceiling gone!
Gotta love the firetrucks!
Caden acting funny like the truck is about to hit him! He was very pleased of this shot!
My non stop constantly moving children. That is why it is blurry!
The Parcell family as we get ready to go home and finish FHE.
6:30pm we head home and do FHE on preparedness. Stop drop and roll and escape routes and meet up places! then came the fire drills! Better than I had expected but room for improvement!
7:30pm Time to make English Muffin Pizzas!!!!
Allie sauces up her muffin bread...
Caden plays around!
Ashley's work of art!
Nicks starving belly!
Conner in motion swirling on the sauce!
Ready to cook!
Second batch being designed!
First batch eaten quickly!
More juice please?
8:45pm THen we read scriptures and had family prayer and sent them to bed!
9:00pm Nick went to play ball for the city and I took a shower and was gearing up for bed! But no at 10:30 NIck came home and wanted to do a midnight firedrill. So loud alarms and sleepy children, we all in jammies escaped outside and headed straight for the mailboxes! Mission accomplished! I jumped in bed @ 11:30 pm and watched batchelor and fell asleep! 12:00 am fell asleep 20 minutes into the show. SooooooooooooooooooooTired!

White Picket Fences and Happy Birthdays!

I am part of a card group that meets once a month! We make all kinds of cards and share with each other! This month our theme was Birthday cards! These are my cards that I created! I did not want to go to the store for supplies, so I went shopping in the basement and dug through my kraft boxes! Popsicle sticks and stickers and this is the result! I am pretty dang proud of myself! Usually I feel that my cards suck, but tonight I will go with pride and excitement to share my cards! You never know, you just might recieve one of these Parcell originals on your birthday! Regardless, I love making cards and find it very satisfying even if you have to squint at them for perfection. Except for tonight! Stare and scrutinize all you want!

Chelsi Cul de Sac Cruising!

That's right! This is Chelsi Crockett! We we sitting out at Lacie's and she needed to run home, but did not want to run back over after, so she borrowed a kids bike and rode on down! It was just a funny image! She did great though! Smart thinking Chelsi!

Damn Dogs! Yes I just said that!!!!

So my dogs that I do indeed love have become overgrown with thick hair that blinds their vision! Not to mention that Toby is a stinky stinky dog from being outside so much! Lacey Lou is not so bad but still, Yuck! So I pulled out the trimmers and started out rather enthousiastic to really make a difference and accomplish something big today! That was at 12:30 pm. It is now 7:00pm and I just finished about 30 minutes ago! So yes Damn dogs! The blade got dull and their hair was too thick and too long! I have blisters and a sore back! The clippers completely broke in four peices and I think it even started smoking! When I turned to scissors, it just looked like a hack job! I refuse to pay over 100 buck to get them cut by a professional anymore. I guess I need to invest in some real dog grooming clippers! Crap, more money! After the shotty haircuts came bathtime and then a wet soggy bathroom and you try and get two wet dogs to stop moving long enough to take an after shot! IMPOSSIBLE!!! Again DAMN dogs! I am not sorry for that! Here are a few token shots! Please feel free to laugh and make fun! I am not sensitive to the fact that they look terrible! Damn dogs! Oh ya Lacey Lou was way better than Toby! I believe I actually spanked him a couple of times, as if that would help! Damn dogs!

See, I am already to go in my grunge clothes and face mask and gloves!

Lacey's hair pile...
Toby's hairpile!
All done and all butched up! All done, why so sad Lacey Lou? Oh ya I hacked up your cute little face! All's well that end's well! Time to eat they say!

Super Hubby Award goes to NICK!

I don't have a picture, but I do have a string of amazing actions of my husband to report! So My MS was really bad this past week and while I was doing my best to keep up with life, ie... cooking cleaning, homework, going to the gym, etc. By Friday my body was done! More pain and more head pains that will bring you to your knees. Under advisement of my neurologist, she said to go to the ER. WHahh wha.(Debbie Downer noise) So we begged her if there was some other alternitive! Nick agreed and took me to the ER. On the way over we were anxious about our arrival and how we might be greeted. Things ran smoothly until the doctor left and a new one took over. He signed discharge papers when I was more worse off than when we got there! TO top it off, when we asked questions, he came in and ripped me and nick a new one! Red headed, red faced hands flashing as he screamed to STOP just STOP IT! He was such a jerk! Nick yelled back and when that did not help he left! Then I turned to him, and asked k if you want to get all mad, do you even know why I am here and what my background is. Do you know that I have four kids and that I am more than just a patient. If you want to help then find those things out instead of kicking us out with no help! He quickly apologized and said he was upset at his colleage who treated me before and that he took it out on us! He calmly got the info and retreated me in a proper fashion. He kept saying sorry to me because I was crying so hard that I was talking and crying and breathing all at once! Not a pretty picture. A few shots later and we were out the door. I slept from 3;30 pm until 10am this morning! My body feels like I got hit by a mack truck, but the head issues are much tolerable! So Nick hates hospitols and waiting and when I am hurting he just has a hard time coping! This time he was patient and caring and assertive when the nurses and doctors just wanted to get rid of us! I love him for doing that for me and then for taking care of the kids in a loving way while I was out cold! He also filled perscriptions and checked in on me regularly. Never once losing his patience! He has really impressed me and I am so grateful to have him as a wonderful husband!

Caden Conquers Cub's!

So my sweet little boy who is not so little anymore, has been in cub scouts for about six months. He loves it and really enjoys the meetings and his leaders. He loves it so much, that he just recently at pack meeting got several awards. He worked so hard to get it all done and was very excited for us to be there at pack night when he received them! He was so cute and handsome and very proud. As was I! Proud Mom! That's right, I was as excited as he was. In fact, a change in leaders made some confusion and Caden forgot to hand his book over for sign offs! We missed the dead line for awards that were earned to be turned in. I was sick about it, so my friend and Caden's scout leader made some calls for me and found out that I could go to the scout place and purchase the badges myself! So I trekked up to Orem bought them and got them over to Jen's. The evening was great! There I was with all my kids as Nick and I proudly stood beside Caden as he received his Bobcat, his Wolf, his golden arrowhead, and three silver arrow heads! What an amazing kid with great dedication! I sure love him and as you can see we are extremely proud of him and all of his accomplishments!
Caden with Jen his wolf leader! ( He loves her and thinks that she is very funny!) Cute Caden waiting to get his awards!

Jazz game vs Lakers

Last week, Nick got a call from his friend Jessie. He asked Nick if he wanted tickets to the Jazz vs Lakers game. Nick with great delight quickly said yes! He called me and I said yes and then I called Mike and Jen and they said yes and luckly we all found sitters and off we went to the game! It was so much fun. Jen and I became the self proclaimed JenZZ the JaZZ fans. We may make t shirts and go to another game. So if there are any other Jenzz's that would like to join us! Sweet! What a great night! Thank you Jessie and Jen!
