Creative ways to entertain but not over do!

So Conner is still at a very low hematocrit, and there is still a huge risk of him bleeding again. This becomes ever so problematic when you have a four year old boy who wants to be healthy and is taking medications that make him wild and hyper. He can't run, he can't play, he can't scream, but he is sick of reading, and movies, and singing. So we had a hot cocoa tea party! I stretched it out for about one hour. We added milk and sugar, we had refills, and then we washed the set up. They had fun and Conner was calm. Mission Accomplished!
