Conner and Allie turned four on Sat the 1rst. After an exhausting Halloween, Conner was already bleeding when he woke up! What a nice gift on a kids Birthday! He is so brave and was so excited about his Birthday, that he still managed to have a great day. I wanted to take the kids to a friends baptism, but with Conner bleeding and Nick gone, i had to stay close to home. We kept busy and played carefully. That is until he began heavy bleeding and had another huge clot that was attached to his right side of his throat. We called the doctors and they told us to rush him to the ER again! While checking in at Triage he starting throwing up blood and clots. This scared the nurse and he jumped up and found a room for him in back! After seeing four doctors, they decided he needed to go in for surgery for the third time in a week and and half. His blood levels had dropped down to 22. We now are looking at a possible blood transfusion. As well as a blood disorder that it the underlying problem. After the second surgery a week after the first, he was around 27 and before it all he was at 38. He is weak and scared, but co operative. Surgery goes well and we are sent up to pediatrics. Now resting he seems to be ok and not bleeding. But blood work shows there are still serious concerns and we are heading up to Primary Children's to see the specialists in the Hemotoligy clinic. Me, Conner ,and Allie will be getting full blood work ups. I guess this is genetic and he most likely got this from me. This picture was us leaving the hospitol Sunday Afternoon. He just looks so pale and weak. I hurt for him and just want to see him healthy. He has always been a trooper! He fought for his life when he was born and just a couple of months old and now again at four years old. It was ironic that 4 years to the date we were back at the hospitol and the nurses even remembered us. They were all so great and loving! Thank You for all of our friends and family who have been so supportive and kind.
