Today was one of those days as a mom that you just wish you could take your child's or children's (in this case)pain away! Conner and Allie have had way to many infections and sleep Apnea that forced us to get their tonsils and adnoids out. The pictures will show you that there were some very funny moments and some very heartbreaking moments. Allie and Conner both asked to go home after they had the finger prick blood test done. Conner was higher than a kite on meds while Allie was getting her tonsils out. He had us rolling. He then brought us way down when he came back from surgery just writhing in pain. It was agony and torture! We are home now and they seem to be downing popsicles and enjoying the attention. I am afraid for the rude wake up call when all the anasthesia wears completely off. Two at the same time is kind of like twin bearing. Yes it happens all at once, but you sure go through double the hell to get to the same result. All and all this was something that needed to happen, I just wish I could take the pain on myself. I hate to see them suffer and not be able to take it away. I love them dearly and I can't wait for them to make a full recovery and be back to their crazy twinner selves!!!!

Glad to hear and see that all went well:)
I started out feeling good about this and by the end of the pictures I find myself crying. I hope recovery goes well for your guys.
When I was about their age I had my Tonsils out too. I remember them letting me have my Lemony Lion with me. And lots of popsicles. But thats all I remember, So at least you have that to know that they wont really remember the experince. But I really hope everything goes well with recovery. Those pictures do break your heart, they are too sweet and darling to be in pain, your in my prayers as always.
